Devin Booker’s Left Hand

As I mentioned in the opening, Devin Booker was absolutely on fire in the fourth quarter, but more importantly, he looked good all game  – with his left hand.

We all saw Booker working hard on both his conditioning and his left hand skills during training camp after his surgery, taking the opportunity to not be able to shoot with his right to focus on strengthening his left.

While he didn’t shoot with his left hand (that I caught), he did nail a number of left-handed layups, one in particular that maybe could have been a slam, that after he turned, smiled, and stuck his tongue out in a playful manner immediately after it went in.

We should be assured that he is going to continue to work on his left hand throughout the year to make himself as ambidextrous as possible.

If Booker ever hurts his right hand again and has to convert to a lefty to stay on the court, I actually would be pretty okay with that, after what we saw on opening night.

Booker really was on tonight, because he knows, that it is Time to Rise.
