What we need to hear from everyone on Phoenix Suns Media Day
By Dan Volpone
George King
King was the 59th pick in the draft, and the Suns locked him into a two-way contract. That means unless the team signs him to a full NBA contract he has a game limit and can’t play in the playoffs, so he’ll spend a lot of time in the G-League. How does he feel he can help the team in limited games, and does he think the G-League will be good for his development?
Darrell Arthur
After being acquired from the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for Jared Dudley, it was originally rumored that the Suns would buy Arthur out. That never happened. What’s his side of the story here? Was he unsuccessful in agreeing to a buyout, is it still on the table, or was the rumor wrong from the get-go? Does he expect to make the final roster?
Richaun Holmes
Holmes was traded to the Phoenix Suns from Philly for cash considerations, meaning he’s an extremely low risk addition. He’s also on the final year of his rookie deal, so this season is extremely important to his wallet. He grew disgruntled with minimal minutes on the Sixers. How has he improved, and is he ready to work hard regardless of his role this year?
