How is Devin Booker‘s recovery moving along?

We haven’t had an update on Devin Booker‘s health following hand surgery as of ye, and the question about how his recovery is coming along will be both the first question asked as well as the question asked with the most variations in phrasing.

We need to know how his recovery coming along. Is he ahead of schedule? Behind? Right where he needs to be? How far into the regular season will he actually miss? How will training camp work in the implementation of new Head Coach Igor Kokoskov’s offensive and defensive schemes without his number one player on the court?

Not since Steve Nash have the Suns had a star on the roster who was so necessary to the team’s success that their absence caused fan’s hearts to flutter in fear that the rest of the team will never be able to survive without him.

Without Devin Booker, Phoenix doesn’t stand a chance of being competitive for more than only a few games. Blowouts are more likely and the team will look like they have another shot at the first overall pick.

If the Suns are going to stand any  chance at making the playoffs, they’re going to need a healthy Booker for as many games as absolutely possible.

How his hand recovers is the most important piece of information that needs to be drawn from the team’s Media Day.
