#3 Jrue Holiday – New Orleans Pelicans (6-4, 205 lbs, 28 years old)

2017-18 Stats : 49 percent from the field, 34 percent from three (1.5 makes per game), 79 percent on free throws; 19 points, 6 assists, 4.5 rebounds, and 1.5 steals in 36.1 minutes per game.

2018 Playoffs: 52 percent from the field, 32 percent from three (1.8 makes per game), 70 percent from the foul line; 23.7 points, 6.3 assists, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.1 steals in 38.7 minutes per game.

It would take all that and a bag of chips to even get the Pelicans to listen, but the Phoenix Suns should still pick up the phone. Holiday had a heck of a season, posting career highs in field goals made, field goal percentage, three pointers made and attempted, rebounds, and blocks to boot.

He made the 2018 All-Defensive First Team too. He was an All Star in 2013 and is entering his prime now. Holiday and Booker would be an amazing backcourt. Add DeAndre Ayton and multiple two way players, and we have something special.

Holiday took off in the post season, with a playoff career high 33 points to take a 2-0 lead and then besting that playoff career high with 41 points in Game 4 to help the Pelicans sweep the Blazers. New Orleans fell to Golden State, but it wasn’t Holiday’s fault, as he did everything he could, even posting a triple double in Game 5.

The only other players to put up 23-5-5 in the playoffs were Steph Curry, Giannis Antetokounmpo, John Wall, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, and LeBron James. What would it take to land him? Tyson Chandler‘s expiring contract, T.J. Warren, Troy Daniels and our 1st round pick may make them bite.
