Washington Wizards

PG – John Wall – 89
SG – Bradley Beal – 87
SF – Otto Porter – 81
PF – Markieff Morris – 77
C – Dwight Howard – 81

The Washington Wizards are the cream of the Southeastern Division crop, and yet even in a weak Eastern Conference aren’t all that threatening.

Sure, they’re better than the Phoenix Suns, and win every starter rating head-to-head save for Trevor Ariza’s one-point lead over he-who-shall-not-be-named.

And yet, even with one of the highest-rated backcourts in the league, Washington has still not made it to even the Conference Finals once with this core.

Sure, they’ll probably sweep the Suns (although I wouldn’t be shocked if Phoenix tied the series with each home team grabbing victories), and I never really seem to have any problem with Washington when facing off on 2K myself, but the Wizards’ starting lineup is certainly a tough one, and rated pretty accurately enough.

Comparing the starter’s ratings head-to-head, Suns fans are hoping that within only another year or two Phoenix will also have four starters in the 80s with a minimum of three over 85 (probably Booker, Deandre Ayton, and Josh Jackson).

If so, by that point the Wizards will probably have been broken up, and the Suns will be able to handle them as well as we already do on 2K.

Total Rating Score: 415         Average starter rating: 83.0
