Comparing the Phoenix Suns’ 2K ratings to the Southeast Division
By Adam Maynes
Charlotte Hornets
PG – Kemba Walker – 86
SG – Nicolas Batum – 77
SF – Michael Kidd-Gilchrist – 75
PF – Marvin Williams – 76
C – Cody Zeller – 77
Don’t you wish that the Phoenix Suns played in the Southeast Division?
It’s so baaaaaad.
Charlotte is another team that is just about as below-average as it gets, and whether Phoenix is playing them on 2K or in real-life, they should handle the Hornets – barring injuries.
Personally I haven’t been much of a fan of Kemba Walker and see him as a rich man’s Eric Bledsoe (who I do not think too highly of), and honestly I think that an 86 rating is too high. Sure, he can score, but what does he actually do really well?
On 2K, he’s a good player to have, and don’t get me wrong, when I pick up my copy I’ll probably trade for him after running with the Point Booker lineup for a while.
In real life Kemba is the only player worth owning a uniform of on the roster, and if you take him off, not only are the Hornets as below-average as Atlanta and Orlando, but the Suns handily win every ratings position save for a tie of Josh Jackson and Nicolas Batum (at 87, Booker is only one point higher than Walker at 86).
Again, I do believe that not only will you be able to steamroll over the Hornets on 2K, but the Suns should handle them pretty well in real life as well.
Up to this point I expect the Suns to sweep the first three teams in the Southeast Division, and they should actually be able to compete with the next two as well.
