Trevor Ariza: 78 (2K18: 77)

The newest Phoenix Sun, Trevor Ariza, had a fantastic season for the Houston Rockets in 2017-18. To be fair, pretty much any NBA player who has played for a Mike D’Antoni team can say that – but that’s besides the point.

Ariza was brought on to be a plug and play wing player.

He is 33-years-old, but by all accounts he’s playing as well as ever. He can still defend at a high level, and his 3-point shooting is still more than serviceable.

With one of his best career seasons fresh in mind and a big pay day from Phoenix, Ariza is primed for a slight ratings boost heading into 2K19.

Mikal Bridges: 78 (2K18: N/A)

Mikal Bridges was perhaps the most surprising acquisition for the Suns this offseason.

He forms a fearsome defensive unit with Josh Jackson and Trevor Ariza and he has plenty of offensive potential for Phoenix as well. With solid shooting numbers, good defensive traits, and above average athleticism, Bridges should be in the high 70’s range to start off his NBA and 2K career.

Bridges also has room for improvement, and as a top-ten pick in the draft, he should boast a potential that reflects that. We predict his potential to be an 85.
