Brandon Knight: 74 (2K18: 74)

Knight missed the entire 2017-18 season with injury. That often times results in a ratings drop for a player the next season. However, Knight is still barely entering the prime of his career, and he has a clear path to the starting point guard spot for the Phoenix Suns.

The Suns’ success might squarely rest on the shoulders (and knees) of Knight.

If he’s anywhere close to the level of player he was with the Milwaukee Bucks, Phoenix will vastly improve this season.

If not, the improvement might be marginally better at best than last year.

Tyson Chandler: 74 (2K18: 75)

Tyson Chandler definitely had a bit of a down year last season for the Phoenix Suns. He spent a decent chunk of the year injured, and even when he did play he wasn’t very effective on the court.

Combine that with the fact he’s only getting older and his 2K rating stands to drop a point.

Troy Daniels: 76 (2K18: 75)

Troy Daniels had a bit of a breakout season last year with the Phoenix Suns. He put up career-highs in points per game, field goal percentage, 3-point percentage, and minutes per game.

Daniels is on a favorable contract, and it’s likely he’ll remain a part of the Suns’ plans moving forward as a 3-point marksman off the bench in relief of Devin Booker.

After putting up a lot of career-highs last year, Daniels deserves a boost to his rating.
