What would be your dream trade scenario involving Warren and either Chriss or Bender?

Warren may draw some interest from teams around the league, but it’s hard to imagine Bender or Chriss garnering any significant trade package.

As a general rule, if you don’t want your own player, other teams probably don’t either. That doesn’t mean it’s time to give up on any of these guys, it just means their values are at all-time lows.

For a trade involving Warren and Bender or Chriss, it would be reasonable to expect a mid first rounder in return, and I would be ecstatic if a deal like that happened. I would prefer to keep Chris over Bender, but I’d be willing to do the opposite for a good enough pick with favorable protections.

That’s my realistic trade. My dream trade scenario, though, would be to include them in a package to get an All-Star. If a disgruntled star wants out, I’d be willing to throw Bridges and Jackson at them, with Warren and Bender and maybe even a pick included to sweeten the deal.

The move would free up cap space, and if Ayton and Booker play up to expectations, it would add a third star to the Phoenix Suns with the cap space to pursue a fourth over the next two summers.

In reality, maybe the young pieces aren’t enough to get a deal done. But this is my dream scenario, and in my dream it’s just enough.
