A Summer League Championship!

Obviously the most important thing to watch for is the opportunity for the young Suns to work together and win a championship under their new coach! With so many high picks and players with NBA experience on the regular roster, they come into Las Vegas as one of the favorites to win it all.

It would set a great tone to the start of Igor’s tenure as head coach to win his first competition with the team. All while he builds extended relationships with many of his young players, and continues to adjust to being a head coach in the NBA. He would also get to see how his schemes and plays work in live action basketball against other coaches, along with finding out which players fit which roles in his offense the best.

It is also valuable and fun to see the young cores of these teams competing head-to-head. It would give fans and players alike a boost of confidence and excitement if the Suns’ young core took out other rising teams such as the Kings and Mavericks. Plus who doesn’t want to get even with those Lakers after they won it last year! Here’s to a long and successful Phoenix Suns Summer League!
