6th Pick

Do the Phoenix Suns want to guarantee that they can draft Trae Young? Trade up to 6 instead of 5 and they should have a guaranteed shot at taking the Oklahoma phenom.

The Orlando Magic are going to be a difficult team to make a deal with because they do not have a point guard currently on their roster worth being on an NBA roster so they are probably licking their chops knowing that both Trae Young and Collin Sexton will be available to them with the 6th overall pick.

So, the Phoenix Suns need to offer them one.

Or how about three.

This one hurts because the Suns will lose a roster spot by acquiring Bismack Biyombo who is at best  the third best center on any team in the league and yes it making $17M per year right now.

However, by landing the 6th pick, the Suns are guaranteed Young (or Sexton, or Porter).

Orlando will get a starting point guard for now, a backup point guard for now, and the chance to draft another point guard with the 16th overall pick, if Shai Alexander slips that far.
