7th Pick

The best player available at 7th overall will be a point guard, whether it be Trae Young or Collin Sexton, and the fact of the matter is, the Chicago Bulls do not need one.

By swapping with Chicago, there is a good chance that the Suns will have the opportunity to draft the second best point guard in the draft (presumably) in Trae Young, who if he does become a Steph Curry-type, will literally be a part of the second coming of Splash Bros.,  as he shares the backcourt with Devin Booker.

Now why would the Chicago Bulls trade a player who is compared to Curry? Simple. The Suns will blow them out of the water with this trade opportunity.

Chicago, like many other mediocre teams in the east, need help, and they aren’t going to get enough of it in the back-5 of the top-10 of the draft. The Suns can not only offer talent that can help today, but then the chance to draft more talent later one (including today, actually).

Chicago isn’t going to miss out on much here and will still be able to have a great press conference when they introduce four new players, including one first round pick, and have an additional pick in reserve for next year or the year after.
