10th Pick
The Philadelphia 76ers don’t need another young player, they need further veteran help to put them over the top in the Eastern Conference (and by over the top, I specifically mean allow them to compete with the Boston Celtics).
As of the evening of June 19, NBADraft.net has the Sixers taking Mikal Bridges, a SG/SF. There is no way that he will be ready in a year or two to make a significant impact, and odds are he may never be good enough to help the 76ers, especially when they have Markelle Fultz and Robert Covington.
T.J. Warren is a better player than Robert Covington now, and is also a veteran player who can continue to help add that maturity to a roster ready to compete for Conference titles now.
Warren adds depth, while Troy Daniels helps to replace J.J. Reddick and make up for Warren’s deficiency as a 3-point shooter. Phoenix get’s a pick in the top-10, allowing them to either immediately package 10 and 16 up for an even higher pick (maybe 7 and Chicago), or the opportunity to draft someone at 10, then trade 16 for a future first round pick.
