The Celtics have done a great job of picking for upside in the last few drafts.  Now it’s wining time.  I think Brown is the right kind of brains to go with a position of need.  Backing up Jaylen Brown and playing heady defense should be a solid contribution to a Celtics team that’s ready to feast in a conference that’s unlikely to have LeBron in it.

If they do decide to go with their time tested methods, I think Gary Trent makes a lot of sense.

I feel like the 76ers draft plan should be pretty simple.  Find anyone who can play elite defense or knock down wide open threes.  Musa isn’t much for the defensive side of that equation but man can he hit wide open shots.  They can’t go wrong adding more shooters to surround their superstars.

Plenty of good fits should be around at this pick.  Troy Brown, Gary Trent, and Kevin Huerter are all great ideas.

Everyone needs a Steve Kerr.  The guy who can just stand out on the corners and rain down fire.  I don’t believe Huerter is going to provide much other value on the court than the deep ball.  However, when you’re job is to just knock down open threes compliments of Lonzo Ball, it’s hard to argue with Huerter’s fit.  Especially if King James comes to town to add to the wide open nature of those shots.

Donte Divincenzo makes sense here because he’s an annoying player and it’s LA.
