There are three elite prospects in this draft and Doncic is one of them. Kuddos to the agents of other prospects who have done a terrific job of tearing Doncic’s value to shreds. Despite the broken knee cap, Doncic’s elite potential remains assured and he’s not going to slide nearly as far as the hype would suggest. He can legitimately play three positions with the potential to play four. He’s got a docile effectiveness that will age well over time. For a team like Atlanta that’s too much to pass up.

I wouldn’t be surprised if you see the Hawks snag Trae Young or Jaren Jackson Jr here.
