Fit

Many believe in drafting the best available player and Marvin Bagley III certainly could be the best available at number one.

Bagley would fit well with the Suns as he would be their stretch five and could switch on all screens like Jackson and Dragan Bender. He would provide badly needed scoring on the interior but still provide perimeter shooting, stretching the floor for Booker, T.J. Warren, and Jackson to be effective driving to the hoop.

Even if his shot doesn’t translate to the NBA he still has the potential to develop into a Kevin Garnett in the post and be part of a switch happy league.

Although it is likely that the Suns draft Ayton with the first pick, Marvin Bagley deserves to be part of the conversation. Bagley will stretch the floor and provide interior scoring. He will also bring JJ’s hustle and athleticism to the court. He will stretch the floor and be the biggest mismatch on the court because of his size and strength.

Next: The Phoenix Suns should make Grayson Allen a priority

Bagley will have a long NBA career and can be a Allstar if he develops his perimeter game. I think the best pick for the Suns is Marvin Bagley, but what do you think?
