Milos Teodosic

I know you shouldn’t base too much off of 45 games, especially when it comes to a 31-year-old rookie and bringing him to a rebuilding team. I can’t help it.

Something about Milos Teodosic makes me reminisce about Steve Nash.

Maybe it’s the daggers in defenders faces, maybe it’s the swag without the talk, maybe it’s his highlight passes that even teammates have to really be ready for. Maybe it’s just his complexion and his hair.

Teodosic can shoot from anywhere and makes his free throws with the best as evidenced by his 42-38-85 shooting line as a rookie on a team that struggled for options. He started 36 games and averaged 9.9 points and 4.7 assists in those games in a limited 25.9 minutes.

That’s 13.8 points and 6.5 assists in 36 minutes. As a rookie.

His play is so flashy and he makes his teammates better. The Suns should ask for his price and as long as it’s reasonable pay it without thinking twice.
