 Alec Peters

Alec Peters ended the season on one of the most tremendous high notes a player has ever ended a season with the Phoenix Suns. Drafted for his above average 3-point shooting abilities, Peters could have a role long-term with the Suns should he remain healthy, improve his defense, and continue to shoot lights out from beyond the arc. I cannot imagine him ever making his way into the starting lineup with any regularity, but being a regular rotational player and spot-starter could definitely be in his future.

Unless the Suns are forced to keep all four draft picks this year, I expect Peters to be re-signed and kept for at least another season hoping that he can prove that his outside shooting is as consistent a quality as it is a valuable asset.

 Shaquille Harrison

Shaquille Harrison broke onto the scene in Phoenix out of necessity as the Suns could not keep regular point guards in the rotation for any length of time. With his limited minutes, Shaq not only proved that he was at least a decent backup point guard, but that he was a very good defensive player, something that the Suns lack across the board.

I would hold off expectations that he will return until we know what the Suns do in the draft. There is a possibility that they select two point guards, and even if they only take one, with Brandon Knight coming back, Tyler Ulis still under contract, and the potential of adding Luka Doncic, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, and/or Colin Sexton, there might not be space on the roster for Harrison as well. I personally hope that he will be back, but nothing can be guaranteed at this point in time.

 Danuel House

No minced words here: Danuel House will not return to the Phoenix Suns next season. Barely able to crack the rotation even with all of the injuries and strategic benchings, House was fun to watch, but will not have a spot on the roster next season. There are too many players definitely coming back, too many potential additions, and the hope that talented depth will be added across the board making the ability for House to ever see the court again almost impossible.
