Luka Doncic. 2. player. 211. Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Shooting Guard. Slovenia

The Grizzlies have to hit the reset button this summer.  Mike Conley is arguably the game’s best point guard but he’s on the wrong side of 30.  Same story with Marc Gasol at center.   Add to that age problem the fact that they’ll never find a way out of the Parsons deal and you have a compelling case for moving Conley and Gasol to bring in a ton of cap relief and young talent.  They need a centerpiece for their rebuild and no player outside of Ayton is better situated to fill that void than Doncic.  He’s the best prepared and most skilled player to ever come out of Europe. There’s really no one on this team to consider being sensitive to in terms of fit or playing time.  Doncic’s ability to distribute the ball might be the only way you get Memphis to be an attractive place to free agents.  Even though my heart would love for Bagley to play the role of ZBo II, the right pick for Memphis is Doncic.
