Scouting Report. Pick Analysis. Point Guard. player. 38. Oklahoma. Trae Young. 5

I hate Orlando’s draft philosophy.  I even hate that I just gave them credit for having a philosophy.  They seem to always pick bizarre picks with high ceilings.  Enter Trae Young, the man who lit college basketball on fire and then plummeted back to earth.  The Magic need a young point guard.  They are the organization most likely to mistake Young for the second coming of Steph Curry and that’s why this pick seems inevitable.  I think Young will be a solid player.  Probably deserves  a spot late in the lotto, but this is Orlando.
