Unceremonious Player Exits

Furthermore, it is secret that the Suns have seen players leave on bad terms with the team.

In the past, Goran Dragic and the Morris twins made it publicly known that they did not like what management was up to. Whether it was at the fault of the players themselves or strictly on the front office, it was a problem none-the-less.

This season? The infamous ‘I don’t wanna be here’ tweet from former starting point guard Eric Bledsoe continued the tradition of players leaving on bad terms.

Having situations like that happen is never a good thing in both the short term and long term, and having it happen on multiple occasions over a short period of time is down right disturbing.

Also, if the Suns pride themselves on the ability to make moves this summer in the free agency market, questions as to why this continues to happen and it if will finally stop, must be answered.

Players and agents talk with each other. There is a good chance those who are looking to get a heads up on the team, discuss what’s happening. Suns General Manager Ryan McDonough had better have the right answers.

It is easy to point fun at Bledsoe and/or lambaste him for denying a tweet that he clearly knew what was about. However, this appears to be a trend of player exodus for the Suns and quite frankly, I’m glad there’s no chance for this to happen again for the foreseeable future.
