7. Tra Holder – Arizona State/From California (6-1 180, 22-years-old)

Tra is arguably the better, safer pick if the Suns are going to select a guard from one of Arizona’s college teams. He put up a 41-37-84 shooting line with 18.4 points, 4.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game this season. In 4 games against ranked teams, he improved his shooting to 52% from the field and 47% from down town. He also averaged 30 points, 4 assists and 3.3 rebounds in those games. The question with him is at his size he will likely need to improve as a play maker and be a point guard on a consistent basis. With at least 5 assists in six different games, he showed he can do that. He was named 1st Team All-Pac12 for a reason. Over his four year ASU stint, he ranks in the top-five in points, assists, starts, minutes and made free throws. Another thing one has to love about Holder is the fact that he absolutely hates losing. The Suns could use some one like that. A guard with a spark plug that will do every thing in his power to help the team win.
