9. Ky Bowman – Boston College/From North Carolina (6-1 190, 19-years-old)

Ky had pretty good shooting numbers with a 43-37-80 line and could score (17.8 points), pass to the open man (4.8 assists) and pick pockets (1.5 steals) this season. He also rebounded the ball very well for a guard his size (6.8 rebounds). As a 19-year-old, one might think playing against competition might be too much for him. However, he thrived against ranked teams averaging 20.3 points, a whopping 8.8 rebounds, 5.2 assists and 1.2 steals in 6 such games. This solid play got him All-ACC Honorable Mention honors. He absolutely loves the game and that desire alone in a player would be a benefit to the Suns. The toughness that comes with him being a highly sought-after 4-star recruit for football in high school would help also. By the time his senior year came, he decided he no longer wanted to play football as he wanted to follow his heart and play basketball. He de-committed from North Carolina and declined another full ride offer from Alabama, who had won 3 Championships in their last six years at the time of their offer. After a lot of work, he got on with Boston College to play basketball, became the man and is now ready to contribute on a pro level.
