The Phoenix Suns are armed with multiple second round picks. It is time to evaluate draft prospects at guard the Suns should look at with those picks.

*NOTE* This is prior to any tournament games.

This is the fourth piece looking at underdogs worth using one of their second round picks on. Again, to qualify, these guys must have little chance of hearing their names called in the first round. However, they could all contribute to this young team.

Malcolm Brogdon, Josh Richardson, Spencer Dinwiddie, Jordan Clarkson and Allen Crabbe are recent second round guard picks that have become contributors in the NBA. Who could be next?

Let’s jump right into looking at the prospects.

11. Chris Chiozza – Florida/From Tennessee (6-0 175, 22-years-old)

Chris put up a 42-36-80 shooting line with averages of 11.2 points, 6.1 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.8 steals this season. He does a little bit of every thing as he is a decent shooter and stands up on defense. In eight games against ranked teams he nailed 44% of his threes and his averages went UP to 13.4 points, 8.1 assists, 5.3 boards and 1.3 steals against tougher competition. His calling card is his play making. He broke Florida’s career assist record and was recognized by being named to 1st Team All SEC. That would not be a bad backup PG off the bench for Phoenix. They could do much worse than Chris Clutch.  Many will begin to know who Chiozza is when they think of last year’s March Madness. Remember the off-balance, buzzer-beating trey that beat Wisconsin in overtime sending Florida into the Elite 8? Yeah. That was him.
