7: Moritz Wagner, Michigan.

Hear me out: at 6’10” averaging over 14 points and 7 boards a game, Wagner is one of the most passionate characters in NCAA hoops. Having led Michigan to back-to-back B1G titles, Moritz Wagner should be a nice consideration, especially if the Suns go with a big early. Wagner has improved his game on the boards, and while still not the best rebounder, and not overly athletic, he possesses an offensive game that seems to flourish in the league.

He has a quick step to the rim, and is an efficient shooter from 3. Wagner is not going to jump in and play the 5, so lets not scout him like he is. Wagner is a stretch-4 who has a versatile offensive game and a big body. He has the mind of someone who just wants to get better and win, the kind of player you want on your team. His honest personality is fun and could fire up an entire arena.
