9: Gary Trent Jr.  Duke.

There is always room for another shooter on this roster. Gary Trent Jr. is averaging just over 14 points a game for Coach K and the Blue Devils, and shoots near 42% from the arc. At 6’6″ Trent could help the Suns spread the floor and play fast, while giving opponents another concern from downtown.

Trent is excellent at letting the game come to him, and can score in a number of ways. Quick off the dribble, and physical bodied, his fearlessness could pay off for the soft Suns if they were to draft him. By comparison, Trent possesses a body type, stroke, and overall game very similar to Devin Booker. In a league that sees smaller lineups every day, GTJ might just be the perfect wing to mirror Devin Booker, especially if the Suns play small ball. Trent will have to keep being aggressive to keep his stock high, but the talent and potential is definitely there.

Now imagine him staying teamed up with Marvin Bagley…I’m just saying.
