4. Kevin Hervey – Texas Arlington/From Texas (6-9 230, 21 years old)

Kevin is more of a stretch forward but will probably translate more as a big small forward. He made 34% of his long bombs, scoring 20.5 points per game along with 8.5 rebounds, 1.2 steals and 0.6 blocks this season. There were only 2 games this year where he got to see ranked competition but he showed he belonged making 6 treys and averaging 24.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals per contest. He has a good combo of size and skill which would be useful on these Suns and the way the front office likes their players. He has torn both ACLs, the right in high school and the left in college, but it looks like he’s been able to put that behind him and just play ball. He has a 7-3 wingspan, is an excellent rebounder and can match up well with bigger players in the post as well as be a perimeter threat. Overall, he has a highly unique profile that will give him a very good chance at adapting on the next level. Definitely worth the risk.
