5. Zach Thomas – Bucknell/From Maryland (6-7 230, 21 years old)

Zach has legit size for an NBA small forward and he plays like it. He made 37% of his threes this season, scoring 20.3 points per game. He also pulled down 9.2 rebounds with 1 steal and 0.7 blocks per game. He only played a single game against ranked competition but he made 4 treys and put up 24 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal and 1 block against then #9 ranked UNC in that game. He scored 27 points or more in 7 different games, grabbed at least 12 boards in 10 different games and had at least 2 steals or 2 blocks in 11 different games. He’s like a utility knife, strong for the job and ready to help anywhere. He really showed this against Stony Brook, whose players are still having nightmares of him, after he lit them up for 38 points on 5 made treys with 11 rebounds, 7 assists and 3 steals. Mr. Thomas is also a very smart student as he is set to graduate with a Biomedical Engineering major. That same intelligence can be turned into a high basketball IQ. He could contribute immediately off the bench.
