Mike James
Mike James, a G-League call up and the NBA’s first 2-way player to be offered a contract for the rest of a season was fun while he lasted.
A long-time competitor in European leagues, James was finally given his shot in the NBA after a spectacular 2017 Summer League stint.
Unfortunately for him, while he got his contract, he was eventually waived due to poor production and the lack of a well-rounded offensive game. Not one to pass the ball, he was certainly more of an Eric Bledsoe iso-centric-type player. James slowly lost his minutes, and eventually his spot on the roster.
