The Suns went 1-7 (.125) over the last two weeks. Phoenix beat the Dallas Mavericks but went on a losing frenzy succumbing to the Memphis Grizzlies, Utah Jazz, Charlotte Hornets, San Antonio Spurs, Denver Nuggets, LA Lakers and Golden State Warriors. Though it was a very ugly stretch of games, there was shining light from some of the youth. Let’s discuss.

Back of the Bench/Injured Players/New Addition

Alan Williams is still hopeful to return around March. Here’s to hoping we can see some “Big Sauce” soon. However, with losses piling up and the tank in full effect, the team may choose to just sit him for the rest of the season to ensure he’s fully healthy for next season.

Alec Peters split time between the NBA and the G League and played sparingly for both clubs. He made 38% of his treys to the tune of 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in 2 Prescott Valley games. He played a total of 19 minutes in 3 games for Phoenix, making only 1 of 8 shots for 2 points. He did have 8 rebounds though.

Danuel House Jr  also split time between the 2 clubs. In 3 NAZ games he put up a 40-33-85 shooting line with averages of 17.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists. For the big club he averaged a mere 4.3 points in 4 games of action.

Davon Reed stayed with the main team but didn’t play much even with the injuries, only logging time when games were all but over. He made 2 of 4 triples (50%) and averaged 1.8 points in 5 matches.

Josh Gray is fresh off signing his 2nd 10-day contract with the Phoenix Suns as the team needed another PG. He made 3 of 10 treys (30%) with averages of 6.8 points, 3 assists and 2 steals in 17.5 minutes. His offense hasn’t come to town quite yet but he has shown hound dog defense.

How did the main rotation guys do?
