DENVER NUGGETS
SMALL – 2018 2nd round pick (via Toronto) and Phoenix’ 2019 2nd round pick for Emmanuel Mudiay
Mudiay has fallen out of favor in Denver and could blossom in a solid role in Phoenix. As a starter he’s averaged 12.6 points, 5 assists and 0.9 steals. That’s not half bad. He’s also shooting 37% from down town this season.
BIG – Troy Daniels, Marquese Chriss and Suns’ 2019 1st round pick (top 10 protected) for Jamal Murray and Kenneth Faried
Jamal Murray next to Devin Booker could be a really good back court. Murray is averaging 16.6 points on 38% accuracy beyond the arc. He’s also on a recent tear averaging 22.1 points and 4.6 assists in his last 9 games. Denver drops Faried’s contract. Manimal would bring a lot of energy and a vet PF that can still put up good numbers (28 years old with career averages of 11.4 points and 8.2 rebounds) to Phoenix. Chriss gives them an athletic PF that would be a good student for Paul Millsap. Daniels gives the Nuggets a top 3 point shooter. The Nuggets also get a potentially high pick.
