INDIANA PACERS
SMALL – Troy Daniels for Cory Joseph
Jay Triano and Joseph have the Canada connection, Joseph is almost as good as a 3-point shooter as Daniels and more of a PG. Daniels slightly wins the long distance edge and is only paid about half as much money. This makes a swap of the two make sense due to fit.
BIG – Marquese Chriss, Alex Len and the Suns’ 2019 1st round pick unprotected for Myles Turner and Al Jefferson
The Pacers getting out of the rest of Jefferson’s contract helps them agree to this deal where they also get a young athletic PF in Chriss and a young built center in Len to add to their front court as well as a potentially high 1st round pick. Phoenix gets a very nice front court player to pair with Devin Booker. He’s only 21-years-old, has legit size at 7-1 255 and oozes with potential while already being really good. This season he’s put up a 49-35-75 shooting line with 13.7 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.2 blocks. When he plays at least 30 minutes that goes up to a 54-38-73 shooting line and averages of 17.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 2.8 blocks. He has career-highs of 31 points, 16 rebounds and 6 blocks. For sure you are getting a solid rim protector and there is the potential of him becoming an All-Star in the future.
