While we can never say never (what if someone at the last second offered an unprotected first round pick and an expiring contract), the overwhelming odds are now in favor that the Suns will retain Tyson Chandler and not trade him this season. Granted, they still have Alex Len plus the opportunity to sign a G-League center or trade for one using a second round pick for depth, we can presume that with the hope of remaining competitive, the Suns were intending on keeping at least one of the two on board to provide front court depth.
