38-21-72 shooting. 11.7 points, 3 rebounds and 0.3 steals in 20.7 minutes.

At short glance, Jackson’s stats over the last two weeks sends some worries. Combined with his 0 for 13 night on Sunday against Houston and one might begin to believe his short stretch of good basketball was just that – a short stretch.

However, even good shooters have a night where their shot can’t find water falling out of a boat into the ocean.

Example – November 16, 2017. Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, one of the best shooters in history, made only 3 of 14 shot attempts (21%). Take out Sunday’s goose egg and he is netting a 47-36-70 shooting line and averaging 14.6 points and 4.1 rebounds so far in 2018. The future is still bright for the #4 pick.
