Troy Daniels

The Memphis Grizzlies literally paid  the Phoenix Suns to take him off of their roster, and now I hope he never leaves.

The best 3-point shooter the Suns have had since Jared Dudley in his prime – and best outside shooter at the shooting guard position since Raja Bell or even Quinten Richardson before him – Troy Daniels is shooting lights out this season, and might be one of the best backup shooting guard in the league (the Suns apparently have a bunch of those “best backup in the league” type of players).

Seriously though, if grading players can also include expectations and not just results, then when the Suns are paid to take someone off of another team’s hands (and someone who once had a public spat with local superstar Devin Booker), even though he has been a career 40.8%+ 3-point shooter, I can not be more impressed with him this season.
