How the Suns can pull off a trade for a star
By Adam Maynes
Milwaukee Bucks
The Bucks are probably the only team in the league that if I were Ryan McDonough I wouldn’t call again for at least another year or so. After getting ripped off in the trade of Eric Bledsoe – who has been playing very well for Milwaukee so far – I would hold my tail between my legs and move on.
If the Suns couldn’t get either Thon Maker or Malcolm Brogdon in the Bledsoe trade, let alone Jabari Parker who after he finally returns from his ACL injury may never be the same player he was prior to the injury, there is probably no way that the Suns could now acquire any of them, or sell what would obviously come off as an over-pay when the original trade offers included Eric Bledsoe.
Not that any of those players are stars either. Parker, if healthy, could be, but following such a serious knee injury, it’s very shaky ground.
