There are several names on the Los Angeles Lakers’ roster that Suns fans would love to get their hands one. Kyle Kuzma for one, the 2017 second round pick who is a legitimate contender for the rookie of the year award this season.

However, unless the Lake Show are getting their hands on a star player themselves, odds are he’s not going anywhere.

Julius Randle and Brandon Ingram each might become available this season, Randle who will become a restricted free agent, and Ingram who is still in his second year.

Randal can potentially be had for cheap, potentially a one-for-one with Chriss, or even for a top-59 protected second round pick with the paired acquisition of Luol Deng.

The same may be said for Ingram, although there are two issues with that: Ingram would be interesting but would his offensive-centric style clash with Devin Booker at all? And also, a one-for-one trade would likely have to center around T.J. Warren or Josh Jackson.

Again, the trade could potentially be less (a lot less) from the Suns’ perspective if they take on Luol Deng’s contract, although there is no doubt that Phoenix would never acquire Deng, unless they are offered something a crazy package they cannot refuse since making any trade that takes on Deng and hampers their cap room progress for several years.
