5 signs Marquese Chriss has FINALLY turned the corner

Scoring
While he’s never really had a consistent jumper or post moves, a player of Chriss’ natural athletic prowess should allow for him the ability score points with regularity. There is no reason that a player of his uncanny athletic capacity cannot manifest his talents in a way that gets him to the rim alone enough times a game to score 10 points, while having the skillset to shoot the outside shot with enough efficiency to drain a few per game, placing him only a couple of putback slams and alley-oops away from scoring 20 points each and every time he’s out on the court.
Even on those nights when his shots don’t fall he should be getting to the basket enough and finding those garbage points to score in double-digits every night, leaving single digit scoring nights a thing of the past.
While still all the way there yet by any means, since December 20, Chriss has scored in double-digits five out of seven games while shooting 57.4% from the field and 45.8% from beyond the arc.
