For too long now Suns fans have worried that Marquese Chriss would ultimately be dubbed a bust.
Based almost solely on his attitude and propensity to take himself out of games merely by arguing with an official for a perceived wrong, and Chriss can go from a crazy athletic freak with the ability to dominate, to a bench scrub no more capable of helping the team than an injured vet.
Then word leaked in the days around Christmas that several veterans had been working with Chriss on his game and how invaluable a player of his skill set can be when his head is in the moment and his body is on the court.
It seems that Chriss has received the message.
It seems too that the Suns have received somewhat of a Christmas miracle.
Since December 20, Chriss has had seven very good statistical games, with only one clunker thrown in the bunch. Without looking at the stats a simple eye test has proven that something has changed and that he is beginning to grow fro the immature young player, to a professional athlete whose chose sport is finally starting to slow down for him.
From scoring and rebounding to the intangibles of not arguing or taunting opponents with such regularity, Chriss has kept his head about him, and by extension, his body in the game.
Let us break down the five most obvious aspects of his game as evidence that he is finally turning the corner.
