Most NBA draft experts agree: this NBA draft class is special. From powerful big man DeAndre Ayton, to re-classified freshman Marvin Bagley, to the injured Michael Porter, to the raw Mohamed Bamba, to European revelation Luca Doncic, the top of the 2017-2018 draft is loaded.

Whether the 2018 Draft can legitimately be compared to the 2003, 1985, or any other with multiple stars throughout, the Suns are in prime position to make one more run at a top pick (or two), players who have all the hype in the world right now and can be potentially become the kind of franchise changer that fans have been clamoring for for a long time.

So, with the Phoenix Suns scuffling a bit, why not take a look at the future? Today, we are going to look at five players, one of whom may be on this roster by next season. With the college basketball and European leagues up and running, now is the perfect time to check in on some of basketball’s most talented young players.
