OUT – Tyson Chandler and Milwaukee’s protected 1st round pick
IN – Ed Davis, Zach Collins and Jake Layman

Why for the Blazers?  Ed Davis has a contract that ends at the end of this season. Jake Layman is a reserve. Zach Collins is promising but Tyson Chandler helps them now as a sure thing in a playoff run. They also get a 1st round pick in this deal.

Why for the Suns?  Waive Ed Davis and create $8M more spending money this coming free agency period. Buy out Jake Layman who is only owed $2.6M combined for this year and next. The prize in this deal is 1st round pick Zach Collins who could be a good center prospect for the team.
