The Suns are on a big skid right now, losing their last four games, falling to 13th in the Western Conference.

Orlando, on the other hand, have won three of their last five games and are sitting comfortably at third in the competitive Eastern Conference.

Torn apart by Hassan Whiteside in their last game, the Phoenix Suns sorely need Tyson Chandler back tonight. Chandler is currently listed as “questionable” for tonight’s game, leaving Phoenix a little short on big men. Alan Williams is still out with an injury, Greg Monroe doesn’t look like he is ever going to play for the Suns, leaving Alex Len as the only healthy true center on the roster.

The Magic’s center combination of Nikola Vucevic and Bismack Biyombo could be a real weapon for Orlando against a depleted Suns’ squad.

Interesting Facts:

  1. Aaron Gordon is having a breakout season for the Orlando Magic. He’s currently averaging 19.3 points per game to go along with 8.3 rebounds and a 57.5 three point percentage. You read that correctly, AG is shooting 57.5% from three. Gordon, a player who struggled to find a jump shot in high school, college and his first couple of NBA seasons has finally settled into a rhythm from the perimeter. This new, consistent stroke has made Aaron Gordon a huge asset for the Magic.
  2. Suns’ star Devin Booker has hit double figure points in 11 of Phoenix’s 12 regular season games. No other Phoenix Suns’ player has accomplished that feat this season. The Suns’s player with the next most double figure scoring games is Mike James, with nine.
  3. This is the Phoenix Suns’ sixth game out of a seven game stretch against an Eastern Conference opponent. Phoenix has gone 2-3 against the East this season, with wins against the Brooklyn Nets and Washington Wizards to go along with losses against the New York Knicks, Brooklyn Nets and Miami Heat. Will tonight be the night that sees the Suns even out their record against the Eastern Conference?
