Ian Begley of ESPN has reported that the Knicks have also reached out to the Suns. According to his report, the Suns asked for Frank Ntilikina and Willy Hernangomez. However, the Knicks don’t want to give up either player. They see Ntilikina as their point guard of the future, while Hernangomez is close friends with star Kristaps Porzingiz. The Suns would maybe settle for a 1st-rounder, but according to Marc Berman, the Knicks aren’t open to that either.

Kyle O’Quinn is someone the Knicks would prefer to give up instead, but I don’t see that going anywhere. I mean, of course New York wants Bledsoe without having to give up any assets. That’s not how trades work, though. Unless the Knicks are willing to part with Ntilikina, Hernangomez, or a 1st, it’s hard to envision them getting Bledsoe.
