TRADE SCENARIO #10 – Orlando Magic

OUT – Eric Bledsoe, Troy Daniels, Marquese Chriss and Miami’s 1st round pick
IN – Elfrid Payton, Terrence Ross and Aaron Gordon

Why would the Magic do this?  Bledsoe and Nik Vucevic would be great together and would give the team a solid trio with Evan Fournier. Marquese Chriss could replace Gordon and Daniels would bring shooting off the bench. They are bribed with a 1st round pick to give up their youth.

Why would the Suns do this?  Payton would be a more than capable replacement who is a good all-around player with good defense. He just needs to work on his jumper, but he’s only 23 and fits the timeline. 12.8 points 6.5 assists 4.7 rebounds 1.1 steals as he put up last season are a solid line and will only improve in time. Ross is a bonafide 6th man who would bring needed highlight reels off the bench. Gordon is another AZ product and could flourish in the desert.

Next: Earl Watson is out: Why, and what's next

This wraps up my trade scenarios for Eric Bledsoe. Hopefully, if he is indeed traded, he hasn’t already forced the Suns hand too much in being able to get a quality return. His tweet could simply mean he didn’t want to be in that position being a leader for the team, friends with Watson and stuck in a hard spot with Earl being fired. Who would want to be there when their friend gets fired? Awkward. But the way he played like he didn’t really care makes it look like he indeed wants off the team. We will see what happens.
