The Suns won’t win a lot of games…

Like I said in the introduction, the Suns won’t win a lot of games and I believe fans know that.

When your core only offseason moves consist of signing your rookies and offering the qualifying offer to your former fifth overall pick, then you most likely won’t win many games.

In the four games the team played, they had a record of 1-3 against NBA teams.

During that time, the Suns still had the same problems they had from last year mainly their poor defense.

They allowed their opponents to shoot 38.7% from three and to score 114.3 ppg. It wasn’t any better for them in the free throw line too as teams averaged 24.5 trips to the line in their first four games.

For the upcoming season, Head Coach Earl Watson seems to be focused on the offensive end and it showed during the preseason. The Suns gave up a ton of points but they also scored in bunches as they averaged 107.5 ppg against NBA teams. They also tried experimenting with different lineups and sets they want to run with.

With how strong the West looks on paper it’s not shocking that the Suns won’t win much.
