Pacific Division Rankings: SF Edition
Honorable Mentions:
Just like the first two installments of this series, only the projected starters will make the top five list. These honorable mentions are the best of the rest.
- Josh Jackson, Phoenix Suns
- Justin Jackson, Sacramento Kings
- Sam Dekker, Los Angeles Clippers
- Andre Iguodala, Golden State Warriors
To start us off, two of the newest members of the Pacific Division, Josh Jackson and Justin Jackson figure to be a couple of the most promising players in the entire NBA. For the Suns, Josh Jackson will likely start off the season on the bench, before making his way into the starting lineup later in the year. There is a good chance that the exact same thing happens for Justin Jackson in Sacramento. Just when exactly will these two players sneak into their teams’ starting fives? We will just have to wait and see.
Next on this honorable mentions list, we have former Houston Rocket Sam Dekker. Last season, Dekker played 77 games for the Rockets and averaged 6.5 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. Like last year, the former Wisconsin Badger will be stuck behind a more experienced NBA veteran, but he will still play a big role for the Clippers.
Our final honorable mention, Andre Iguodala is clearly the best player of the four listed here. He plays an extremely important role off the bench for Golden State, leading their über talented second unit. Iggy’s dynamic playmaking ability and long wingspan make him one of the most dangerous small forwards in the entire NBA.
