  • Nick Young, Golden State Warriors
  • Patrick McCaw, Golden State Warriors
  • Jordan Clarkson, Los Angeles Lakers

Just like in the point guard edition, only the predicted starters made their way into the top-five rankings. These three honorable mentions are the best of the bench.

First, Nick Young signed for Golden State on a one year, $5.2M deal earlier this offseason. The Warriors adding another volume scorer is a scary reality for the rest of the Pacific Division teams. A 3-point chucker, there is no doubt that Swaggy P  will boost the Warriors’ second unit’s production.

Next, you have another Oakland resident, Patrick McCaw. In the 2016-2017 season, his rookie year, McCaw averaged just over 15 minutes per game and even started 20 games  for the super-stacked Warriors. Be on the lookout for another impressive season from the second year player.

Finally, Jordan Clarkson is a shooting guard who is flying a little under the radar right now. After starting every game he was available to play in the 2015-16 season, Clarkson came off the bench for much of last season. While Clarkson’s minutes and starts dipped, his production stayed nearly the same. We should expect those same productive numbers this year.
