4. George Hill, Kings
The first veteran newcomer to the Pacific Division on this list, George Hill is about as solid of an NBA veteran as they come. At 31, he’s played nine seasons in the league and has averaged over 15 points and 4 assists in two of his last three seasons.
Hill has a decent three-point stoke and he averaged over 40% from the field in both the 15-16 and 16-17 seasons. Hill is also a decent rebounder and defender having averaged over 3.0 rebounds and nearly one steal per game over the course of his career.
Hill is the perfect player to mentor honorable mention De’Aaron Fox this season. The two point guards may end up being in the same playing time situation that T.J. Warren and Josh Jackson are in here in Phoenix. It’s likely too that Hill and T.J. will both start for their respective teams at the beginning of the year, before ultimately giving way to their younger predecessors in Fox and Jackson.
