Big Sauce!

The hometown big man made it big last season with his play down the stretch. Post all-star game, Williams averaged nearly a double-double putting up 11.4 ppg, 9.1 rpg, and shooting 51% from the field in 22 minutes of action. This led to a 3-year $17 million extension in the offseason.

It was a short stretch and there is still some ways to go for him to bump that rating up a bit. Can’t help but to think that the rating may be just a tad low however. Williams is in the same plane as Malik Monk, Terrance Ross, and Caris LeVert. He’s looking up towards fellow Suns Marquese Chriss, Richaun Holmes, and Brandon Ingram.

My suggestion would be to bump him up with those guys to a 76. It wouldn’t hurt. For someone who grinded his way to success given the opportunity, he absolutely warrants just a slight bump because, why not?!

Too Low
