This roster isn’t relevant of unless MVSteve is only on it, and at the top. Arguably the greatest player in franchise history (the only other possible player is in the starting lineup as well), the two-time MVP not only changed the franchise for the better with his return as a free agent in the summer of 2004, but changed the trajectory of the NBA in general. If you recall, the NBA game had slowed down to a snail’s pace and scoring was at historic lows. When Steve Nash coupled with Mike D’Antoni to created the 7 Seconds or Less style of play, he not only made the Phoenix Suns relevant again, but also Wednesday night games in December national viewing. Boy do we miss that.
